A Warm Welcome

Good Evening, and thus begins my epic quest to become qualified for the Pro Tour of Magic the Gathering.


Y'know I thought the bar should be set high, i suppose, maybe. Eeep!


Well for those whose don't know me, my name is Jeb, and I am a self confessed card game enthusiast. I began card gaming with my Nan, who sadly has passed away but I will never forget her teaching me how to play 3 card brag and between Her, my brother, and I, wiping the family clean of their 10p and 20p every christmas.  ZING! (Love you Nan xxx) 


That was actual cards. The ones I am interested in this time around are collectible card games, or more specifically Magic the Gathering cards.


It was my now friend Whiteraven that introduced me to this game and I am blaming him slightly for this addiction I have....or maybe not. I was hooked the moment I started watch him play for the first time. It was something about the cards.....


Maybe the art....


Maybe the cards themselves...


Maybe the fact i saw TREEFOLK... 


I will let you guys figure out what got me hooked :P


Let's get serious right now. C'mon crowd round. The purpose of this blog, is to hopefully guide myself and  all of those Casual Magic players who have been sitting at around 1700 to the hallowed land of the pro tour. It will be tough. There will be tears and fights. There will be drunken 2am drafts. There will be laughs and good times.


So all those in favour of getting to the Pro tour with me raise your right hand and cry.
